FAQs

Where can I find my photos?
Can my children go ziplining on their own?

Youth participants from 10 through 15 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or adult chaperone on the tour.

For group reservations, 1-2 adult chaperones are required per tour group, depending upon the size of the group (please visit our Groups page for more details and to complete an inquiry form or give us a call at (218) 656-1111 to discuss a zipline tour for your group.)

Are reservations required?

Reservations are strongly encouraged. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you.  Tours have a limited number of available spots and are set on a fixed schedule.  We do our best to accommodate walk-in bookings but availability is based on the space available.

Can you accommodate individuals who may need additional support to complete their tour?

If a member of your family or group may require accommodations during their tour, please contact us prior to making your reservations to discuss the nature of the accommodations (learning disabilities, physical challenges, etc.).

How can I make a reservation for a group?

If you have a group of under 10 people, feel free to make a reservation using our on-line reservation system.

For groups of 10 or more: Please call us at(218) 656-1111 or fill out our group form to organize a group reservation. You can also email us at info@zipbrainerd.com.

We welcome groups of all sizes. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

What should I wear?

Our primary advice is to dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes (closed-toed shoes are required).

  • Long hair should be tied back, and should be tied low enough to accommodate the helmet.
  • Sunglasses and/or prescription glasses may be worn, but should not be put in a pocket.
  • Please consider leaving jewelry in your vehicle so that it does not get lost on the tour.
  • If you wear shorts, you’ll be most comfortable if they come down to at least mid-thigh, providing a clothing layer under the harness strap.
What's your cancellation policy?

We’re passionate about hospitality. As your tour date approaches, we put our plan in motion to make sure you have a great time. Scheduling your Guides for your tour is part of our planning so we do have limits on how close to a scheduled zip tour date we are able to cancel and provide a refund. We do of course recognize that plans may change. We developed our cancellation policy with both of these in mind.

  • Cancellations made 5 days or more in advance will receive 100% refund or a one-time reschedule, whichever you prefer.
  • Cancellations made less than 5 days before the scheduled tour can be transferred to another guest only.
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather conditions that create safety concerns (please note: we do zipline on rainy days) or other circumstances that require us to change your reservation, can be refunded or rescheduled, whichever you prefer.
Is personal handheld photography allowed on the tour?

Personal handheld photography is not allowed on our zipline course due to our hand braking system (meaning, you will need to have your hands free while zipping). If you would like photos of your experience, you are welcome to bring your own GoPro, or you may rent one which includes a USB memory stick of your footage. If you bring your own, we use helmet strap mounts.

What if there is rain, snow…?

Our zipline tour runs in all weather, unless there are extreme conditions. Our course manager on duty will determine tour cancellations due to weather, etc.. If your tour is canceled, we will work with you to reschedule your tour. If we’re unable to reschedule your tour that was canceled, you’ll receive a full refund.

What if I'm running late?

All zip line tours begin at the time you have reserved.  Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time for your tour in order to provide yourself adequate time to check-in, use the restroom, etc.

Running late?  Please call us at 218 656-1111 as soon as possible.  We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate late arrivals but we will do our best to work with you to get you on your zipline experience.

Why Visitors Love Brainerd Ziplines

Amazing for first timers!

As a first timer who suffers from extreme fear of heights, & having a partner who has zip lined previously, I had an amazing experience! Our guides were phenomenal &unbelievably patient. I highly recommend that everyone try this at least once. You will not regret it.

Worth Every Penny

An excellent experience to say the least It’s worth every penny. A friendly staff with excellent guides that put your safety first and comfortable comedy a close second to put those that are scared of heights at ease was very welcomed during the tour. Don’t miss this hidden gem of an experience that is fun for the whole family!
- John P.

Fun in the Rain!

Really enjoyed the management. Well qualified tour guides. We did ours in the pouring rain. Made it even more interesting. When you first climb that hundred foot Tower. You can see everywhere, even in the pouring rain. They kept track of the lightning. If they got any closer they would shut us down. It is nice that when you finish the course, it is a short walk back to your vehicle.
